The San Francisco Art Dealers Association invites you to "First Thursday". A downtown tradition since 1993, every "First Thursday" of the month many of downtown galleries stay open for casual and welcoming open houses.

Every First Thursday of the month, many San Francisco art galleries stay open late for a casual and welcoming open house, a downtown tradition since 1993. Art Walk offers a great opportunity to meet local artists, drink wine, and enjoy the culture. Social scene is to be experienced with other art enthusiasts after all it is all about supporting the local artists. San Francisco Art Walk is FREE.

WHEN: First Thursdays of every month, most galleries open their doors at 5 pm. WHERE: Various San Francisco locations including our venue at OTIS LOUNGE, 25 Maiden Lane in San Francisco.

The ever evolving street artist Dan Plasma will headline the reception on October 1st, 2009 and this month's exhibit. His work in most recent years will be exhibited in the main room. He will also demonstrate his talent in doing a live painting. The uber stylish photographer, Del Geronimo will grace the second floor showing his travel log photos from Europe and the Middle East. A photobooth is setup for the NOH8 Campaign to be shot by Mr. Geronimo. Sean Ward will be present for the reception to promote his newest comic book art series. John Havik spins the groove.
